Notice is hereby given that a town election will be held in the Township of Forest, Rice County, Minnesota, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

The first day for filing affidavits of candidacy will be Wednesday, December 30, 2025. The last day will be Wednesday, January 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Filings may be made with the Clerk, Ashley Anderson.  You can either make an appointment by calling 507-213-7116 or emailing foresttwpclerk@gmail.com Clerk will hold office hours from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on the last day of filing, Wednesday, January 14. The following terms will be expiring:

• Supervisor seat for a term of three years
• Supervisor seat for a term of one year

The filing fee is $2.00.
